Groundbreaking Ceremony for New James Ross Office

In August 2024, James Ross Ltd. officially broke ground on its new office building in addition to the current facility in Brockville, Ontario, Canada. This state-of-the-art facility is being constructed to meet the growing demands of order fulfillment and to strengthen James Ross Ltd.'s position as a global leader in the metal manufacturing industry.

The company, which serves a diverse range of industries worldwide, specialises in processing chrome-nickel stainless steel, special alloys, aluminum, and plastics. The completion of the new building is slated for early 2025.

New Facility

The new facility has been designed with a focus on employee well-being and sustainability. It will incorporate environmentally friendly operating practices aimed at reducing carbon emissions and enhancing energy efficiency. To support these goals, the facility will feature a state-of-the-art HVAC system that maximizes energy efficiency while ensuring optimal indoor air quality and comfort for all employees. This advanced system will utilize smart controls, heat recovery, and high-efficiency filtration to further reduce the building's environmental impact.

Guests of Honours

Michael Mortsch, General Manager of James Ross Ltd., along with over 50 valued employees celebrated this significant milestone honoured by the presence of several distinguished guests, including Michael Barrett, Member of Parliament for Leeds-Grenville-Thousand Islands and Rideau Lakes; Steve Clark, Member of Provincial Parliament of Ontario representing Leeds-Grenville-Thousand Islands and Rideau Lakes; and Brant Burrow, Mayor of Elizabethtown-Kitley, along with his representatives. Also in attendance were members of the IBS Paper Performance Group management team, including Mark Bartelmuss, CEO of Papertech Inc., and Verena Rischawy, HR Director of IBS Paper Performance Group. Brandon Campbell from Eastern Engineering and Kevin Selleck from R.D. Steele Construction, both partners in designing and building the new facility, were present as well.
